Tommy Tse is an Associate Professor at the Media Studies Department. He specialises in Asia’s cultural industries, consumer culture, creative labour and fashion. Before joining UvA, Tse taught at the Department of Sociology, University of Hong Kong. He is an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Fashion Studies and an Associate Board Member of Work, Employment and Society.
