Anouk van Dijk is an Assistant Professor of Child Development and Education at the University of Amsterdam. She investigates how mental health care can better respond to adolescents’ evolving needs, aiming to increase the uptake of evidence-based interventions in this pivotal stage of life. In her teaching, she explores the philosophy of psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and the therapeutic relationship, encouraging students to connect conceptual understanding with clinical practice.
